Meet Dr. David Milot, D.C.!

Hello! Welcome to In8 Chiropractic! My name is Dr. David Milot (pronounced Me-Low) I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. For as long as I can remember, I had a fascination with how the body worked. I also had a love of nature in general. While in High School I thought a career in Wildlife Management was my path. While working on undergraduate requirements, my focus shifted to healthcare and I became a Radiologic Technologist. A few years later, I was introduced to Chiropractic when I had an injury to my upper back and couldn’t turn my head. Not long after that, I was in southern France and a friend was hit by a car while on his bike. I was able to see how Chiropractic helped him recover without medication or surgery. When I returned to the United States, I changed focus again and went back to school to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. I graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College, Kansas City in 1994. I have been truly blessed to be a part of this amazing healing profession. I started my professional career in Virginia. I was there from August of 1995 until December of 2021. At the end of December 2021, I moved to Salt Lake City, Utah with my Partner. She grew up in Salt Lake City and wanted to move home. It also allows me to be close to my three grandchildren as their father is currently at the University of Utah. I’m excited to be near the mountains because I enjoy hiking and skiing.

At In8 Chiropractic our mission is to improve quality of life through affordable chiropractic care. The name In8 is a shortened form of the word innate. Each of us has an internal wisdom known as innate intelligence. This is what governs and controls all functions of our body. It is the means by which we adapt to our internal and external environments. The ultimate purpose of chiropractic is to free interference to innate intelligence; allowing our bodies to function as close to homeostasis, or balance, as possible and express it’s full potential. I look forward to continuing to help individuals and families reach a greater health potential and a greater quality of life.
